Chinese medicine treatment cost Hong Kong: Chinese medicine consultation fee Hong Kong and How much does a Chinese medicine consultation cost in Hong Kong?
Published Updated
How much does a Chinese medicine consultation cost in Hong Kong? There is not one clinic-wide figure that answers every enquiry, because consultation, prescribed herbs and treatment items can be charged in different ways. At TCM Lab, the published examples are HK$580 for one pain-relief manual treatment session, HK$680 for acupuncture with manual treatment, and HK$980 for one whole-body acupoint-embedding session; that embedding service has no trial session. Use these as named service examples, not as an assumption about every first visit. Before you travel, ask what service is being considered, the charging unit, what is included, whether consultation or herbs are separate, and whether Prince Edward or Kwun Tong can accommodate the arrangement.
Appointments are confirmed through WhatsApp. If you have language requirements, please mention them in your enquiry.

The short answer
Published TCM Lab examples are HK$580 for a pain-relief manual treatment session, HK$680 for acupuncture with manual treatment, and HK$980 for a whole-body acupoint-embedding session, with no trial session for embedding. A Chinese medicine consultation fee in Hong Kong is not necessarily the same as a treatment charge or a herbal prescription. Frequently asked questions
Are the HK$580, HK$680 and HK$980 figures consultation fees?
They are published examples for named services: HK$580 for a pain-relief manual treatment session, HK$680 for an acupuncture-with-manual-treatment session, and HK$980 for a whole-body acupoint-embedding session. They should not be treated as a single universal Chinese medicine consultation fee. Ask what applies to your requested assessment, treatment and any herbs.
Is a whole-body acupoint-embedding trial session available?
No. The published price is HK$980 for one whole-body acupoint-embedding session, and no trial session is offered for this service. Ask for an assessment and clarification of the proposed arrangement before deciding whether to book.
Can I ask whether herbs, a receipt or insurance documents are included?
Yes. Ask before booking whether herbs are part of the proposed arrangement, how they are charged, and whether a receipt or other document can be provided. Insurance coverage must be checked with your insurer, and any Elderly Health Care Voucher or documentation arrangement should be confirmed with the clinic in advance.
Does sending my preferred time complete the booking?
No. Contacting the clinic starts an enquiry. The service, practitioner, location, time and fee need to be checked by WhatsApp. Do not regard the appointment as confirmed until you receive a confirmation message.
