Changing or cancelling an appointment
Published Updated
Need to change or cancel a TCM Lab appointment? Send a WhatsApp message to +852 6940 5663 with the name used for the booking, the appointment date and time, and whether you want to move or cancel it. The clinic can then check the appointment details and discuss what arrangements may be available. A message is a request, not an automatic cancellation or a confirmed new booking, so wait for the clinic’s reply before treating the arrangement as settled.
Appointments are confirmed through WhatsApp. If you have language requirements, please mention them in your enquiry.

The short answer
To change or cancel an appointment at TCM Lab Hong Kong, WhatsApp +852 6940 5663 as soon as you know you cannot attend. Include the booking name, original date and time, preferred alternative if you are changing it, and a brief note if it is for a particular practitioner or clinic. The team will review the details and reply about available arrangements. Do not assume a new time or cancellation is confirmed until you receive a response.

Your questions, answered
Frequently asked questions
Can I change an appointment by sending only a preferred new time?
Please also include the name used for the booking and the original date, time, and location. A new-time request without the original appointment details can be difficult to match to the correct booking. Give two or three alternatives where possible, then wait for the clinic to confirm what can be arranged.
Is my appointment cancelled as soon as I send a WhatsApp message?
No. Your message tells the clinic what you are requesting, but it is not confirmation by itself. Keep the original appointment in mind until the clinic replies confirming the arrangement or cancellation. If you have made an error in the date or time, send a clear correction promptly.
Do I need to explain my health condition when cancelling?
No. The clinic normally needs enough information to identify the appointment and understand whether you want to cancel or change it. A brief practical reason is optional. Keep sensitive or unrelated personal information out of a scheduling message unless the clinic asks for relevant detail.
Can I request Prince Edward instead of Kwun Tong?
Yes, state the original booking location and the location you prefer, and say if either location would work. A move between locations remains subject to the appointment arrangements that the clinic can review. Wait for a reply before travelling to a different clinic.
