Can I arrange a Chinese medicine home visit in Hong Kong? — Which areas in Hong Kong are covered for Chinese medicine home visits? — Is home visit tui na suitable for people with mobility limitations? — What to know before you enquire
Published Updated
A Chinese medicine home visit in Hong Kong may be worth asking about when travelling to a clinic is genuinely difficult, but it is not an automatic booking or a substitute for every clinic assessment. TCM Lab considers each enquiry individually. The main concern, mobility, location, available time, home setting and safety all matter. Home-visit tui na may offer limited support in selected lower-risk situations; it is not suitable for every pain problem or every form of manual treatment. A WhatsApp enquiry is the first step, and a visit exists only after it has been confirmed.
Appointments are confirmed through WhatsApp. If you have language requirements, please mention them in your enquiry.

The short answer
You can ask TCM Lab about a Chinese medicine home visit in Hong Kong by WhatsApp at +852 6940 5663. Whether it can be arranged depends on your symptoms, mobility, district, approximate address, preferred time, home conditions and available resources. TCM Lab’s physical clinics are in Kwun Tong and Prince Edward. Home-visit tui na can be considered for selected lower-risk situations, but it does not replace a full clinic assessment and is not appropriate when urgent warning signs are present.

Your questions, answered
Frequently asked questions
Can every person with limited mobility receive home visit tui na?
No. Limited mobility is one reason to enquire, but it does not itself establish suitability. The main concern, symptom changes, ability to transfer or lie down, home setup and safety all need individual consideration. Home tui na may be considered only in selected lower-risk situations and does not replace a complete assessment.
Which Hong Kong areas are covered for Chinese medicine home visits?
Coverage is not automatic by district. TCM Lab considers the specific location, approximate address area, travel feasibility, requested time, home conditions and available resources. Send those practical details by WhatsApp +852 6940 5663 and wait for an explicit confirmation before treating a home visit as arranged.
Can I request home bone setting or a particular manual technique?
You can explain what you are seeking, but a requested technique is not promised. Manual or bone-setting-related treatment may need a closer assessment and can be limited by the home environment and safety considerations. The practitioner may decide that clinic assessment, another care route, or no routine home treatment is more appropriate.
When should I seek medical help instead of waiting for a visit?
Seek prompt medical attention for severe or worsening pain, chest pain, breathing difficulty, serious trauma, obvious deformity, suspected fracture or dislocation, fever with severe pain, or sudden weakness or numbness. For back pain with symptoms in both legs, genital or anal numbness, or new bladder or bowel changes, NHS guidance advises emergency assessment [3].
